THE PROJECT

The project aims to strengthen the value of community theatre as an inclusive and transformative tool, fostering broader, more conscious, and sustainable social participation and civic engagement across Europe and beyond.

The project arises from the observation of increasing social fragmentation, a weakened sense of belonging, and the challenges in fostering active citizenship within communities.

Activities

September 2025

The project officially started, the partners met via videoconference, introducing themeselves. The partners set the agenda of the meeting, division of tasks and set the guidelines for the first project resulys: a Community Survey with interviews and community mapping.

October 2026

Erasmus+ Days. Dissemination events in all the partner countries. All the partners will be angaged in dissemination activities at local level, promoting the project activities and resutls.

February 2026

First international meeting in Belgium a Dinant. Les Amis de la Salle St Anne hosted the first mobility with 6 participants per partner working on the realization of an itinerary theatre performance in Dinant, valorizing the local cultural heritage “SOUS NOS YEUX” .

March 2027

Third project meeting in France in Beaume de Venise.The mobility offers a full immersion in community theater, providing insight into the TRAC model discovering the reality of the rural theatre.

August 2026

Second international meeting in Italy a Monticchiello.
This five-day mobility experience, , offers participants full immersion into the traditions of “autodramma”, transforming them from observers into active participants.

May 2027

End of the project activities. It is time to finalize the project outputs, dissemination tools and prapre the final report. And… why not, plan new European adventures!

The project will deliver both tangible and intangible results, fostering a deeper connection to different theatre approaches and promoting civic engagement across European communities.
